This is a great recipe to use up all that leftover Thanksgiving turkey. The beans don't even need to soak - just place them in the slow cooker!

Ingredients

Yields: 12 cups (12 Servings)

1 lb Great Northern Beans, dry 453.6g
 4 cups Chicken Stock or Vegetable Stock 960g
2 cups water 473.2g
3 Carrots, chopped
2 cups mushrooms 140g
3 cups Roasted Turkey, cubed
1 Onion, chopped 110g
2 tsps Ground Cumin 4g
1/2 tsp Celery Seeds 1g
1 tsp Salt 6g
2 cloves Garlic, crushed 6g
1 Bay Laurel leaf 0.08g
1 tsp dried oregano 1.8g
1/4 sour cream*
fresh parsley** Optional

Mix all ingredients except for sour cream in slow cooker and cook on low for 8-9hrs. Serve with dollop sour cream and parsley leaf on top.

Tips
