Slow-Cook Beef Stew

Ingredients

Yields: 4 portions (4 Servings)

1 lb Beef Sirloin Tip 453.6g
1 tbsp Oil 13.6g
2 cloves Garlic 6g
1/4 tsp Ground Thyme 0.35g
1 tbsp Tomato Paste 16g
2 cups Stock Broth 488g
8 oz Potato 226.8g
2 Carrots 122g
1 tbsp Tapioca Granule 9.5g
1 tbsp Soy Sauce 15.94g
1/4 tsp Pepper 0.575g
2/3 cup Green Peas, Frozen 89.78g
1/2 tsp Salt 3g

Saute beef to brown. Add garlic, tomato paste, and oil and cook a minute. Add all remaining ingredients except for the peas and slow cook 6-7 hours on low or 4-5hrs on high. Stir in peas and let sit until heated.

Tips

Neat Trick • If using peeled cut potatoes, cut into very small cubes or microwave a few minutes before placing in the pot. It doesn’t hurt to microwave the carrots either to make sure they get very tender.
